“Our vaccination campaign is a success: the gap with Great Britain has narrowed from 25% to the current 5% and is getting smaller and smaller, but we must not give in. Because there are still big differences between Member States, Delta variants are spreading and too many doses are not used and remain in the refrigerators”.
This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during her speech in plenary in Strasbourg. “This means we have to increase our efforts to convince Europeans to get vaccinated. Vaccination means protection but also freedom. The best proof of this is the 250 million Europeans who have downloaded their vaccination certificate and can move freely,” von der Leyen added.

Perché’ ci sono ancora notevoli differenze nei vari Paesi membri, si diffondono le varianti Delta e troppe dosi non vengono utilizzate e rimangono nei frigoriferi”.

La vaccinazione significa protezione ma anche la libertà. Miglior prova sono i 250 milioni di europei che hanno scaricato il certificato vaccinale e si possono muovere liberamente”, ha aggiunto von der Leyen.
