Michel: “Third way on patents is the right approach”
The so-called “third way” advocated by the EU at the WTO in the debate on the suspension of patents on anti-Covid vaccines “is the right approach because the liberalization of intellectual property will not be the panacea”. This was said by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
